Suffolk – Jimmie Rogers Jones, 84, widow of Elizabeth Pearl Worrell Jones, passed away December 30, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.  Born in Ivor, he was the son of the late Nat and Virginia Bryant Jones and was also predeceased by two sons, Steve Jones and Johnnie Jones; two grandsons, Dontae Sykes and Nathan Jones; a sister, Lynn Joyner; a brother, Scooter Jones; and a daughter-in-law, Cathy Jones.

Jimmie was a farmer and a member of Bethel Assembly of God.

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter Tammie R. Jones of Suffolk, two sons, Roger Jones of Franklin and Keith Jones (Lynetta) of Norfolk, a daughter-in-law Vanessa Jones of Carrsville, seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Services will be private.  They suggest that memorial donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Children's Hospital of Kings Daughters.
