Franklin- Jessie de Bordenave "Buck" Blythe, 90, passed away August 1, 2016. Mr. Blythe was a native of Southampton County and was a son of the late Jessie and Iola Harcum Blythe. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Harrell Blythe.

He was a member of South Quay Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Edith B. Warren (Michael) , three sons, Marion Blythe (Christine), Jesse C. Blythe (Donna) and Beverly L. Blythe (Wanda), one sister, Aldine Duck, eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3PM Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. James W. Browder, III officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at Beverly and Wanda's Home at 721 Canterbury Ct., Franklin.
