Franklin – Jean Pond "Jeanne" Winslow, 81, passed away December 1, 2022  at her home. She was one of three daughters of the late Joseph Lee and Adele Boothe Pond. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Henry B. Bryant, Jr., her second husband, Frankie Winslow, her daughter, Wendy Bryant Harrison and a special nephew, Joey Branche.

Jeanne was a graduate of Southampton High School where she was the Valedictorian of her class and grew up in Sedley Baptist Church. She was a retired Bookkeeper for Peak and Drescher Accounting Firm and a lover of cats.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Henry "Hank" Bruce Bryant, III (Vickie Miller), a granddaughter, Ivey Bryant and two sisters, Beverly P. Branche and Sandra P. Perchetz (Charles) and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday December 7, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home, with Rev. James Foreman officiating. The burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests memorial donations be made to the Franklin Animal Shelter, 1024 Pretlow Street, Franklin, VA 23851.
