Franklin – Jean Aldrich Lupton, 79, quietly and peacefully entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at home in Franklin, VA
She was a long time member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church and Franklin Chapter #128 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also very active in the American Legion Auxiliary Post 73.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charlie G. Lupton; a daughter, Linda J. Covington and husband, Harold of Capron and a son Don B. Lupton and wife, Sandy of Franklin; two grandchildren, Matt Covington and Gray Lupton.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Leydens officiating. Interment will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund in honor of Jean Lupton at the Franklin Presbyterian Church, 405 Lee Street, Franklin, VA 23851. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
