Norfolk - Jean Marie White Hendricks, born September 30, 1930, was a lifetime resident of Norfolk, VA.  She passed away quietly on June 25, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband John Robert Hendricks Sr., her mother Ethel Agnes Matroni White and her father Leroy Francis White, her two sisters Mary Eleanor White Bounds and Beverly Ann White Hanson, and her brother Leroy Francis White. She is survived by her eight children, 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who will celebrate her life privately.

She left behind children who love and support each other; Jean Marie Hieb (Richard), John Robert Hendricks, Jr. (Bonnie) Deborah Katherine Braun, Pamela Lynn Baggett, Cynthia Ann Dilley, Michele Patrice Bradshaw, Paul Bryan Hendricks, and Stephen Wayne Hendricks (Angie).

We are especially thankful to all who were her wonderful neighbors and friends throughout her life and to those who helped her find peace in her final days; all of the wonderful staff at CSL Georgian Manor, the dedication of her caretakers from Brightstar Care, and Westminster Canterbury Hospice, especially Shannon Williams who provided the best medical care, compassion and support to not only our Mother but our family as well. We owe much gratitude to these angels who watched over her.
