Franklin – Janice Sue Babb Madron, 76, passed away July 29, 2024 in Southside Regional Medical Center.  Born in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Vernon David Babb and Mildred Ricks Babb.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Robert Lee "Bobby" Madron, III; her son, Robert Lee "Robbie" Madron, IV; a sister, Nancy Babb Francis; and a brother, Norman Edward Babb, Sr.

Janice was a graduate of Southampton High School and a retired Service Manager for S. W. Rawls, Inc.  She was always there for everybody and loved her family.

Left to cherish her memory are a brother, Vernon Tom Babb; a daughter-in-law, Coramae P. Madron; her granddaughter, Katie Lane; several devoted nieces and nephews; and many devoted friends who were at her beck and call.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM Friday, August 2, 2024 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyle Green officiating.  Burial will follow in the Madron Family Cemetery, 16471 Cabin Point Rd., Courtland, VA.  The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8PM Thursday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Rescue Squad.
