Ivor – Jane Davis Smith, 80, passed away December 21, 2023 in Courtland Health and Rehabilitation Center.  A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbon Edgar Lowe and Lora Mabel Raiford Lowe.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Raymond Smith, and a daughter, Niki Jernigan.

Jane was a retired finance secretary for Sentara Obici Hospital.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Bradley Jernigan (Miranda), Nicholas Jernigan (Jackson), and Brittney Putnam (Brandon).

Services will be private.
