Franklin- Jane Collins Branch, 91, widow of William Mordicai Branch, Jr. passed away February 6, 2017. Jane was born in Lillington , NC a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Worrell Collins. She was also predeceased by a son, William M. Branch, III and his wives, Lynette Stubbs and Vickie Johnson.

Mrs. Branch was co-owner of Branch's Shoes and was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Branch King of Asheville, NC, one son, Jerry Collins Branch and his wife Anne of Powhatan, nine grandchildren, Cynthia Weeks (Ethan), Jennifer Jannusch (Mike), Billy Branch (Heather), Blair Branch, Bob Branch, Beth Hinchcliffe (Michael), Zach King, Dillon King, Patrick King (Jenny), eight great grandchildren, Jordan and Andrew Weeks, Emily, Sarah and Megan Jannusch, Evan Branch, Anne-Collins Hinchcliffe and Colette King.

A funeral will be conducted at 2PM Friday, February 10, 2017 at Franklin Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Gibson officiating. The burial will follow at Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 to 5PM at Wright Funeral Home where Order of the Eastern Star rites will be accorded at 3:30PM.
