Franklin- Jane Pigford Boone, 86, passed away March 17, 2016. She was a native of Sampson County, NC and was a daughter of the late David Lucas Pigford and Ada Bland Pigford. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Howard D. Boone, granddaughter, Stephanie Boone, three sons, Harry Boone (Shelia), Donald Boone and David Boone, a sister, Mozelle Marley (Ed) and grandchildren, Jennifer Reason, April Boone, David Boone, Jr., Amy West, Jeremy Boone and Donald Boone, Jr., great grandchildren, Krista West, Jaydon, Jacob and Justin Reason, Ethan Smith, Jayvion Harris, Brandon Barner, Tommy Lee White, III and Lillie Rose and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Boone was predeceased by two brothers, and four sisters, William and David Pigford, Mary Ross Gilbert, Maggie Proctor, Louise Fields and Bessie Scott.

A memorial service will be held at 3PM Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
