Franklin – James Edward Smith, 43, died March 11, 2009. He was born in Kempsville, LA and moved to Franklin after Hurricane Katrina.
Survivors include his mother, Deloris Engle Vicknair of Franklin; two sisters, Virsie Fay Damrill of Joplin, MO and Paula Smith of Martinsville, LA; two brothers, Edwin Smith, Jr., of Franklin and Paul Smith of Louisiana. James was predeceased by his father, Edwin Irvin Smith.
