Courtland – James Carroll McCann, 71, passed away September 25, 2025 in Emporia Health and Rehab.  Born in Danville, VA, he was a son of the late Floyd Lee McCann, Jr. and Anie Mae Pittmon Beale.

James was a former parts clerk at Auto Zone.

Left to cherish his memory are three children, Jason, Jennifer, and Jocelyn, and a sister, Debra M. Harrell and her husband Archer, of Capron, VA.

Services will be private.
