Courtland – James Paul "Jimmy" Gyoker, 75, passed away Sunday July 26, 2020 at Concordia Transitional Care Rehabilitation Nansemond Pointe in Suffolk. Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and was the son of the late Paul Joseph Gyoker and Margaret Yoskovich Gyoker.

Jimmy was a graduate of Southampton High School, a US Army Veteran, a retired farmer and truck driver for Jernigan Trucking of Ahoskie and was brought up in St. Jude Catholic Church.

Survivors include the love of his life for 35 years, his wife Patricia Howard Gyoker, a sister Elaine G. Newell (Gary) and a special cousin Dottie G. Cummings.

Jimmy was predeceased by his sweet love pet Daisy.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
