Franklin – James Charles "Jim" Eckart, 77, passed away in his home on August 1, 2024.  Born in Denver, Colorado, he was a son of the late Charles and Ione Danford Eckart.  He was also predeceased by a son, Jay Eckart, and two brothers, Lee and Lyle Eckart.

Jim served in the US Air Force.  He received an Associate's Degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver, a Bachelor's Degree from Avila College in Denver, and a Master's Degree from Keller Graduate School of Management in Atlanta.  Jim was a retired Project Manager for AT&T.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 36 years, Frances  "Fran" Andrea Check Eckart, and five grandchildren, Aubrey, Scott, and Morgan Segreaves, Michaela Kline, and Kent Ridge.

A service will be held in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
