Franklin – James Robert "Jim" Bryant, 85, passed away December 27, 2023 in Courtland Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Born in San Diego, CA, he was a son of the late George Russell Bryant and Olive Katherine Johnson Bryant.  He was also predeceased by his wife, Sherry Parker Bryant.

Jim was a Navy veteran and was a retired west coast Regional Logistics Manager for NOAA with 22 years of service.  He was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Mary Lynn Bryant of Seattle, WA; two sons, James Robert Bryant, Jr. (Ann) of Bangor, ME and Mark Allen Bryant (Amanda) of San Paulo, Brazil; a sister, Mary Kay Miller of Suffolk; a brother, Larry Bryant of Ft. Myers, FL; and three grandchildren, Conrad, Diana, and Perla Bryant.

The family will receive friends at 4PM Sunday, January 7, 2024 at The Village at Woods Edge and suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
