Capron – Jacqueline Ferguson "Jackie" Hobbs, 78, passed away January 23, 2026 in Greensville Health and Rehabilitation Center. Jackie was born December 13, 1947 to the late Amos and Lilly Vick Porter. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Thomas "J T" Ferguson, a son, Patrick Ferguson, two sisters, Catherine Pope and Mattie Fuller and two brothers, Roy Porter and James T. "Buck" Porter. Jackie was retired from Narricot Industries and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Amy F. Knight (Tommy), two sons, Joseph Thomas Ferguson, Jr and Christopher William Ferguson (Nikki), three grandchildren, Phillip Ferguson (McKenzie), David W. Nahrebecki, Jr. (Wendy) and Saladeen Ferguson (Daphne), five great grandchildren, Job Ferguson, Gracie Ferguson, Jameson Ferguson, Owen Nahrebecki, and Tazanna Ferguson and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in Wright Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Baugham officiating. The burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery in Newsoms. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
