Ivor- Jack Laverne Hardt, 75, passed away October 11, 2016 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Jack was a native of Mars, PA, a son of the late Glenn and Lucille Johnston Hardt and was predeceased by his former wife, Brenda Riser Hardt.

He was a member of Millfield Baptist Church and Sedley Ruritan Club. Jack had retired as a Petty Officer in the US Navy after 21 years of service and had retired as an Instrument Technician from Union Camp Corporation.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Linda Hardt Bradley and husband Don of Dayton, VA, Kathryn Hardt Andrews and husband David of El Paso, TX, one son, Jack L. Hardt, Jr. and wife Jeannette of Chambersburg, PA, one sister, Glenda Jean Hardt Jones and husband Marteniz of Lexington, KY, six grandchildren, Chris Hardt (who was raised by Jack), Rebekah Bradley, Jacob Bradley, Ian Hardt, Shalynn Andrews and Lillian Andrews and four great grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3PM Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Millfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Brooks Gale officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery.
