Irma Stanley Strickland

Suffolk – Irma Stanley Strickland, 100, passed away October 28, 2026 in Courtland Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Deep Run, NC, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Allena White Stanley and was also predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Hubert Strickland, three sisters, and seven brothers.

Irma was a graduate of Deep Run High School and a retired from C & P Telephone.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, William Joseph “Billy” Parrish; her grandson, William Scott Parrish; and a great grandson, Jaylen Parrish.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2PM Tuesday, November 3, 2026 in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery in Chadbourn, NC.
