Franklin – Inez Barrett Traughber Williams, 87, widow of Virgil Lee Williams, died June 2, 2010 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. She was born in Nashville, TN, a daughter of the late William David and Nancy Shadowens Barrett. Mrs. Williams was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose and attended Manassas United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Anne Marie Davinson (Roy) of Manassas; her son Grady Lee Williams (Brandy) of Franklin; her sister, Viola Hanczys of Philadelphia, PA; seven grandchildren, Lorraine M. Cline (Brian), Sherry Lynn Lumpkin (David), Kimberly M. Rhys (Aaron), Matthew Glennon, Pam Royal (Daryl), Teresa Davinson, and Donald Davinson; seven great-grandchildren, Hadyn Lumpkin, Gabriel Lumpkin, James Lumpkin, Hayley Lumpkin, Spencer Cline, Wesley Cline and Trevor Royal.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 am Monday at the Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Va., with the Rev. Russell Shillingburg officiating. Interment will follow in the National Memorial Park in Falls Church. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 am prior to the funeral at the funeral home and suggest memorials be made to Manassas Moose Lodge No. 1380.
