Franklin – Hugh Jay Lyons, Sr., 68, passed away on November 6, 2022 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  Born in Medfield, MA, he was a son of the late John Joseph Lyons, Sr. and Mary Theresa McCarthy Lyons.   He was also predeceased by an infant brother, Leo; one sister, Veronica; and two brothers, Timmy and Mark.

Hugh was a retired Navy Chief Quarter Master with 22 years of service.  He worked with road construction for Blair Brothers, Art Ray, and Branscome.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Hugh Jay "Buddy" Lyons, Jr. and his wife Heather of Kentucky; four sisters, Theresa Weiss, Maryanne Lyons, Maureen Lyons, and Bernadette Caldararo; a brother, John Joseph "Jack" Lyons, Jr.; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Lyons.

A Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at 10AM Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
