Carrsville – Hubie Eugene Dunnagan, 87, passed away February 23, 2017 at Southamptom Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Dunnagan was a Retired Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Navy and was a retired Electrical Supervisor at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mary Imogene Dunnagan , three daughters, Menthia Darlene Carpenter (Dennis), Melissia Kay Grasser and Shelia Yvonne Dunnagan, four sons, Danny Lee Dunnagan, Lawerence Eugene Dunnagan, Michael Ryan Dunnagan and James Robert Dunnagan, two brothers, David Dunnagan and Gerald Dunnagan, fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 5PM Saturday February 25, 2017 at Black Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Kitts officiating. The entombment will be held at 11AM Monday February 27, 2017 at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Black Creek Baptist Church.
