Newsoms – Hilda Holland O'Berry, 87, widow of Edward Raleigh O'Berry went to be with the Lord June 5, 2012. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Ella Butler Holland and Vernon Awood Holland, Sr. Mrs. O'Berry was a member of Newsoms United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by a sister, Alma Ann Rountree, brothers, Vernon Awood Holland, Jr., Joseph Milton Holland, Charles Thomas Holland and Willard Butler Holland and one grandchild, Heather M. Lucasti.
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Edward R. O'Berry, Jr. (Julia), Kay H. O'Berry Black (Bill), and Sandra L. O'Berry Brown (David), three grandchildren, Bonny T. Dunlow, Suzanne K. Scott and Louis E. O'Berry, six great-grandchildren, Kent Boyce, Dylan Boyce, Ashley Boyce, Alex Dunlow, Lyndsay Dunlow, six sisters, Della H. Edwards, Grace H. Brown, Dorothy H. Byrum, Jean H. Pavlina, Jane H. Mountcastle and Betty H. O'Berry (Graham), two brothers, Russell S. Holland and E. Ray Holland and many nieces and nephews.
