Hilda Brett Lowe, 96, formerly of Sedley, passed away October 22, 2007. Born in Como, NC, she was a daughter of the late Henry A. and Fannie Lee Brett and the widow of Luther Arthur Lowe.
She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews including Margaret Rountree of Franklin. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by four sisters, Blannie Whitley, Emma Jane Gray, Eunice Brett and Lena Brett Johnson.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Home.
