Franklin - Herbert E. Vick, Jr., 76, died January 16, 2010 at the East Pavilion. He was born in Boykins, a son of the late Bertha Fuller and Herbert E. Vick, Sr., and was predeceased by a brother, Milton Vick, and a sister, Evelyn Davis. An Army veteran, Herbert was a retired Home Beneficial Life insurance agent and a member of Frankllin Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Connie O'Berry Vick; his daughter, Susan Vick Dunn and husband, Christopher, and his beloved granddaughter Katie Dunn, all of Roswell, Ga.; two sisters, Virginia Icard of Perry, GA., and Carolyn Pollard of Richmond; two brothers, Darrow "Dick" Vick and wife, Dot, of Franklin and Carroll Vick and wife, Joyce, of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Sharon James and the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms.
