Franklin – Helen Scott Meyers, 84, widow of Clyde LaVerne Meyers, died October 11, 2008. She was born in Worcester, MA, a daughter of the late George Edward and Flora Grace Chapman Scott. Mrs. Meyers was a retired housekeeper at Worcester State Hospital, and was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Franklin.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Helen M. McGrail and Lynda M. Taylor; one sister, Ruby S. Cox; two brothers, David Scott and Robert Scott; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at12 pm at Worcester County Memorial Park. Wright Funeral Home has charge of local arrangements.
