Franklin – Hazel Elizabeth Revelle Stephenson Bryant, 96, passed away September 30, 2013 at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Southampton County, a daughter of the late Percy and Elizabeth Simmons Revelle and was predeceased by her first husband, Gilbert Stephenson. Mrs. Bryant was a member of High Street United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Raymond Bryant; two daughters, Nancy K. Reedy of Jacksonville, FL and Jane S. Armistead of Orange Park, FL; four grandchildren, Dawn Frye, Amy Young, Stephen Joyner and Debbie Arrington; three step-children, Davis, Dennis and Cynthia and their families; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday (today), October 2, at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. John Ashley officiating. The burial will follow at Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 PM prior to the service and suggest memorial donations be made to Community Hospice, Hadlow Center, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
