Hasten Lee McCoy, Sr.

Courtland – Hasten Lee McCoy, Sr., 78, passed away August 21, 2026 in his home. Born in Ohio, he was a son of the late Calvin McCoy and Bertha Snell and was also predeceased by his wife, Frances Emory McCoy; two brothers, Kenneth McCoy and Johnny McCoy; and a grandson, Buddy McCoy.

Hasten was a US Marine Veteran serving during Vietnam. He was the owner of Prince George Glass and was a Ford man.

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Tammy McCoy Rhodes of Margarettsville, NC; two sons, Hasten Lee McCoy, Jr. (Raeann) of Petersburg and David James McCoy, Sr. of Courtland; a sister, Beverly Welch; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
