Richmond – Hannah Lewis Hughes, 91, passed away February 9, 2023 in Bon Secours Community Hospice House in Richmond.  Hannah was born on August 1, 1931 in Pulaski, VA and was the daughter of the late Charles Luther Lewis, Sr. and Catherine Marie Ness Lewis.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Rev. James Rosell Hughes.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, James R. Hughes, Jr. (Joyce) and Dennis L. Hughes (Elizabeth), and a sister, Charlene H. Day (Don), six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2PM Monday, February 13, 2023 in Southampton Memorial Park in Franklin with her son, Dennis L. Hughes, officiating.
