Newsoms – Hannah Hunt Rose Bryant, 88, passed away December 1, 2021 in her home with her family by her side.  Born in Littleton, she was a daughter of the late Richard Milton Rose, Jr. and Mary Louise Roach Rose.  She was also predeceased by her husband, James Thomas Bryant and her sister, Virginia Rose Hawks.

Hannah was a graduate of Waverly High School and a member of Barnes United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, and tending to her boxwoods.

Left to cherish her memory is two daughters, Elizabeth Temple "Beth" Bryant of Greenville, NC and Brenda B. Rackoff and her husband Geoffrey of Concord, NC; three grandchildren, Ava Rose Rackoff, Temple Bryant Rackoff, and Thomas David Rackoff; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Hollywood Cemetery with Pastor Penny Rasnake officiating.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Barnes United Methodist Church, c/o Linda Updike, 33335 Statesville Rd., Newsoms, VA  23874.
