Franklin – Harvey Fenton "H.F." Vick, Jr., 75, passed away February 20, 2020 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  Born in Franklin and raised in Newsoms, he was a son of the late Harvey Fenton Vick, Sr. and Sarah Drewry Vick Crowell.  He was also predeceased by an infant son Brian Keith Vick and a brother Otis Carson Vick.  H. F. was a self-employed landscaper.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years Shirley V. Vick; a daughter Shari Lassiter (Ronnie) of Franklin; a son Richie Vick (Melissa) of Smithfield; two sisters Rita V. Rice (Bryan) and Juanita V. Harper (Blaney), both of Hopewell; two brothers James Vick (Linda) and Larry Vick (Paula), both of Prince George; five grandchildren Whitney Styron (Chance), Kendal Lassiter, Travis Lassiter (Amanda), Alyssa Vick, and Sydney Vick; one great grandchild Ember Styron; a sister-in-law Cathy Vick of Prince George; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in Wright Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Poplar Spring Cemetery off of Homestead Road.  The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
