Franklin- Gwendolyn Diane Griffin, 77, passed away June 13, 2024 in her home.  Born in Courtland and a longtime resident of Capron, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Dunlow and Ruth Edwards Dunlow.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Calvin Pope Griffin; two sons, Robert Wayne Griffin and Michael Todd Griffin; two sisters, Jean Nahrabecki and Ruth Evelyn Kyte; and a brother, James Norman Dunlow.

Diane was a member of the Windsor Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Calvin Pope Griffin, Jr. (Melissa) of Franklin and Tommy Lee Griffin (Sheila) of Windsor; two sisters, Joyce Boswell and Linda Howell; one brother, Jimmy Dunlow (Barbara); a daughter-in-law, Sheila Griffin; eight grandchildren, Wesley Parker (Hillary), Ashley Edsall, Kimberly McGee (Jacob), Jessica Marie Griffin, Jessica Diane Quier, Bailey Griffin, Tommy L. Griffin, Jr. (Debbie), and April Griffin; and nine great grandchildren, Devin Spivey, Brandon Spivey, Jayden Austin, Alyssa Edsall, Lily McGee, Xavier  McGee, Charles McGee, Julian and Alexis

Viewing and visitation for family and friends will be Monday June 17, 2024 at Wright Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Burial will be private in the Capron Cemetery.
