Courtland – Gracie Lillian Dean Liptrap, 85, passed away August 8, 2021 in Accordius Health of Courtland.  Born in Bath County, VA on November 12, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Grat Dean and Tempie Stapleton Dean.  Gracie is also predeceased by four sisters, Callie, Myrtle, Ida, and Bea and five brothers, Dock, Carson, Roy, Herbert, and Troy.

Gracie had been a cook at Bath County High School and had worked at The Homestead.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Penny Lee Crouse; two sons, Roger Berlin Liptrap, Sr. (Patricia) and Tony Wayne Liptrap (Sherry); a brother, Johnny Dean; three grandchildren, Roger Liptrap, Jr., Nicole Sexton, and Adam Crouse; and nine great grandchildren, Gracie, Ava, Aria, Nolan, Noah, Jonathan, Kierra, Sierra, and Sienna.
