Franklinville, NC – Gordon Raymond Morris, 80, passed away April 28, 2019, in his home.  Born in Franklin, VA, he was a son of the late Harold Gordon and Alice Roe Morris.  Gordon was also predeceased by two brothers, Elton and Mitchell Morris.  He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from Champion Paper Company in Franklin, VA.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters Wanda Parker of Portsmouth, and Marlene Brown (Antonio) of Franklinville, NC; two sons Christopher Morris of Boykins and Kevin Morris of England; five grandchildren Whitney Morris, JaNeil and Tyler Parker, Jessica Morris, and Antonia "Shay" Morris; and two great-great grandchildren Ron Carter Lowe and Mason Parker.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2019, in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, VA with Rev.
