Sedley – Gloria Lee "GE" Worrell, 75, died November 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Southampton County, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Myrtie Claud Ricks Worrell and was predeceased by a brother, Sheldon "Peter" Worrell. Gloria was a retired Hancock Peanut sorter and a member of Vincent's Grove United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Shirley W. Creasey (Jewel) and Linda W. Babb (Buddy); sister-in-law, Diane Worrell; four nephews, Danny Moss, Keith Worrell, Michael Babb, Glenn Creasey; and eight great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin and Aaryn Babb, Taylor Prince and Dalton Creasey, Chandler Worrell, and Danny Ray, Mariauna, and Jonathan Moss.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. Michael Baugham officiating. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
