Courtland, VA - Gloria Teresa (Constine) Craven passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023 in Courtland, VA, at age 91. She was predeceased by parents Andrew H. and Lillian Constine, husband Albert B. Craven, Sr. and son David M. Craven.  Gloria is survived by her brother Clesson Constine of Spring Hill, FL, sons Douglas A. of Brimfield, MA, Thomas E. of Campobello, SC, Timothy R. of Wellford, SC, Richard A. of East Longmeadow, MA, and Albert B. Jr of Franklin, VA.  Gloria is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and her best friend, Judy Ginnetty of Carver MA.

Born in Keene, NH, Gloria moved to Springfield, MA where she graduated from Commerce HS, married her HS sweetheart and raised 6 sons in East Longmeadow, MA. She loved animals, easily made friends and had a kind, comforting demeanor.  Gloria was the best mother 6 growing boys could ever have and she was always a soft place to fall when they were hurt or afraid. She eventually moved with husband Albert, to Tarpon Springs FL, for 35 years, before moving to Courtland, VA.

Dobies Funeral Home in Tarpon Springs, FL will be conducting a memorial service, followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, at a later date to be determined.  In lieu of flowers, Gloria wished that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
