Boykins – Glenn Warren Edwards, "Farm Boy", 68, passed away January 6, 2024 in his home.  Born in Franklin on October 28, 1955, he was a son of the late James Clifton Edwards and Juanita Eddins Edwards.  He was also predeceased by his wife, Frances Premaza Edwards, and two sisters, Elaine E. Wheeler and Phyllis E. Clary.

Glenn was a retired mechanic for Severn Peanut Company and former co-owner of E & W Service Center.  He was a member of Meherrin Hunt Club, Boykins Lions Club, and Boykins Fire Department.  He was also a member of Boykins United Methodist Church.  He loved a Chevy and enjoyed camping.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving companion, Martha Ann Lee; Fran's children, Daryl (Ellen), Brian, Dan, and Ginger; Martha Ann's children, Kimberly Ann (Steven) and John (Jasmine); a brother, J. Clifton Edwards, Jr. (Ginger); three grandchildren, Emmy, Kizzy, and Kolton; a niece, Melundy Wright; a nephew, Robert Edwards; a great nephew, Jonathan Edwards; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Hickman (Wilton); a brother-in-law, Ben Wheeler; and his precious dogs, Willow and Darla.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 12, 2024 in Boykins United Methodist Church, 32167 Main Street, Boykins, VA with Pastor Keith Jordan officiating. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Boykins United Methodist Church.
