Franklin – Glenn Rowley Coulter, 82, formerly of Carolina Shores, NC, died August 4, 2010 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Robert Lee and Mary Jordan Coulter and was predeceased by a brother, Hugh Coulter. Mr. Coulter was a retired Lieutenant Commander from the U. S. Navy after 23 years service and was a former assistant to the Finance Director at Hagerstown Community College, Hagerstown, Md. He was a member of Calabash Elks Lodge # 2679.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Gerry Coulter; one sister, Ann Klafter of Genoa, OH; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass, with military honors, will be conducted at 11:30 am, Monday, August 9, 2010 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with The Rev. Father Jonathan Goertz officiating.
