Carrsville- George Franklin Bradshaw, Sr., 72, passed away September 23, 2015 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Also nicknamed "Frankie", "Hank" and "Early Times"he was born in Franklin and was retired from Electric Motor and Contracting in Courtland. He was brought up in Beaver Dam Baptist Church and was a lifetime member and former President of Carrsville Hunt Club. He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Roma Worrell Bradshaw, a brother, R.L. Bradshaw, a sister, Carolyn Bradshaw and a nephew, Melvin J. Dunlow, Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Nanette B. Whitehurst (Mike) , one son, George F. Bradshaw, Jr. (Linda) all of Courtland, two sisters, Linda B. Alaniz (Ben) of CA, and Brenda June Blount of Carrsville, two brothers, Kenny Bradshaw (Shelby) of FL, and Buck Bradshaw of Courtland, three grandchildren, Thomas Michael Whitehurst, Jr., Brandice Nicole Fowler (Roma) and Jessica Rae Lindsey and four great grandchildren, Savannah Michelle Lewis, Makalya Rene Whitehurst, Hailey Lynn Fowler and Allie Marie Fowler and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM , Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev Hoyle Green officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
