Franklin – George Frederick Blank, 80, died September 28, 2009 at Courtland Healthcare Center. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, a son of the late George and Minnie Messerschmitt Blank. George was a retired machinist model maker for Pacer Tool & Plastic, Inc of South Plainfield, NJ. He was a Lutheran.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Shirley Spiegel Blank; his brother, Howard Blank and wife, Kay, of Bell, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and George's beloved second family, Angela, Greg, Jamie, and Lucas Cutchin.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 am Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Worth officiating. Interment will follow in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
