Franklin – Geneva Elizabeth Linton, 91, widow of Watson Moses Linton, went to be with the Lord February 5, 2011. She was born in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Lacy and Irene McCarty Patton and was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Patton. Mrs. Linton was a longtime resident of the Craddock area of Portsmouth and had been a resident of the East Pavilion since February, 2007. She was a member of the Alliance Church in Portsmouth.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Curtis Linton; a brother, Elvin Patton; two grandchildren, Crystal Saunders of Franklin and Rebecca Linton; and two great-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Addison Saunders, both of Franklin.
