Rich Square – Gary Paul Casper, 55, passed away May 30, 2013. Born in Rockingham County, VA, he was the son of the late Johnnie Ward and Shirley Phelps Casper of Branchville, VA and was predeceased by his sister, Paula. Gary was a past member of Branchville Baptist Church and Rock Church of Franklin.
Survivors include his wife Linda Pierce Casper; one daughter, Emily Pierce (Jason Hobbs); two sons, David Pierce (Jill) and Brian Casper; three grandchildren, Harley Pierce, Briley Pierce and Kayla Casper; one aunt, Elsie Pearson; mother-in-law, Doris Pierce, and father-in-law, Thomas G. Pierce.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Monday, June 3, at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins with Gary's cousin, Randy, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
