Ivor – Haywood Garland Lowe, Jr., 75, passed away August 07, 2022 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Garland was a son of the late Haywood Garland Lowe, Sr. and Mable Lowe and was predeceased by his sister Rosalind Faye Lowe.

Garland was a graduate of Southampton High School and a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and was the owner of H.G. Lowe Shop.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, of over 55 years, Regina "Gina" Lowe, a daughter, Shelly Lowe Branche (John), a sister, Peggy L. Davis (Raymond), two grandchildren, Kaylee and Jenna Branche, a brother in law, Raleigh Cutchins, a sister in law Peggy Kannan, and several loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home, with Rev. Curtis Faison officiating. The burial will follow at Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM in the funeral home and suggest memorial donation be made to the American Heart Association, Black Creek Baptist Church, or Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.
