Franklin-Dorothy Gail Davis, 75, a native of Providence, RI and a former resident of Portsmouth and Windsor, passed away January 29, 2013 at her home following a long illness. She was a member of Windsor Baptist Church and a former choir member.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 30 years, Fred Davis; daughters, Cheryl Spivey, Karen S. Wright (Patrick) and Tina Noonan (Patrick); sons, Edward Spivey (Cynthia), and Gary Spivey (Debi); and grandchildren, Caitlin Wright, Courtney Wright and Ashley Noonan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 3 PM at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and suggest that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Southeastern Virginia Chapter, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
