Franklin – Frances Ruth Zimmerman, 97, formerly of Sykesville, PA, passed away November 24, 2011 at the East Pavilion. She was born on August 15, 1914 in Dubois, PA to the late Thomas R. and Margaret Pittsley Love. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, George Labana Zimmerman; a son; seven sisters; two brothers; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Z. Hamilton and her husband, Gary, of Franklin; a son, George F. Zimmerman and his wife, Linda, of Greensburg, PA; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Dubois, PA. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the home of Nancy and Gary Hamilton, 720 Canterbury Ct., and suggest memorials be made to the East Pavilion Activity Fund.
