Virginia Beach- Frances Bowles Pulley, 86, widow of Andrew Thomas Pulley passed away September 11, 2015. Mrs. Pulley was born in Elk Hill in Goochland County to the late Augustus Lee Bowles and Annie Lee Johnson Bowles.

She was a member of Colonial Baptist Church in Virginia Beach.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Denise S. Watson (Rev. John ) of Suffolk, two sons, Harold E. Pulley (Kathy) of Oxford, KS and Steven T. Pulley of Virginia Beach, six grandchildren, Jason M. Salyers, Whitney S. Moore, Ernest M. Salyers, Jr., Sean T. Pulley, Tim Kennedy and Leah K. Jones and nine great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery , Suffolk with Pastor Jim Newcomer officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 PM at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin and suggests that memorial donations be made to Colonial Baptist Church, 2221 Centerville Turnpike, Virginia Beach, VA 23464. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
