Franklin – Frances Geraldine Dixon, 81, passed away August 6, 2020 in Sentara Hospice House in Virginia Beach.  She was a brought up in Laurinburg, NC and Roanoke Rapids, NC and was a daughter of the late Glen Herbert Stokes and Ruth Wiggins Stokes and was also predeceased by her husband, Elmo Gene Dixon.

Frances was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Lynn "Cindy" Dixon; two sisters, Aline Rooker and Annie Ruth; two grandchildren, Neal Godsey and Joel Godsey; and four great-grandchildren, John Michael Bishop, Bryanna Godsey, Alexis Godsey, and Joel Lynn Godsey, Jr.

Services will be private.
