Franklin – Foy Webster Baggett, Jr., 61, passed away May 1, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Suffolk, he was a graduate of Forest Glen High School and retired as a superintendent for VDOT after 39 years of service. Foy was a longtime member of the Blackwater Hunt Club and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Suffolk. He was predeceased by his father, Foy Webster Baggett, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Jannet Hand Baggett; his mother, Erma Winslow Baggett; a daughter, Kelly D. Baggett; four sons, Daniel W. Baggett, Norman V. Hand (Heather), Ryan Baggett (Courtney) and F. Webster Baggett, III; sister, Judy B. McClung; two brothers, Arthur Baggett (Peggy) and Teddy Baggett (Myrtle) and three grandchildren, Christopher, Isaiah and Raylynne Baggett.

The funeral will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Suffolk. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today (Tuesday) form 6 to 8 pm at Wright Funeral Home and suggests memorials be made to the family for Webster's college fund at 3091 Beaverdam Rd., Franklin, VA 23851.
