Franklin – Ollie Fennon Turner, Jr., 83, widower of Faye Daughtrey Turner, passed away November 27, 2019 in Sentara Obici Hospital.   Born on September 4, 1936 in Roxboro, NC, and reared in Carrsville, Fennon was the son of the late Ollie Fennon Turner, Sr. and Lera Young Turner.  He was also predeceased by a son Daniel P. Turner, a brother Gilbert W. Turner, and his dear Friend Jane Brown.  Fennon was retired from the Sheet Finishing Department at Union Camp Corporation with 35 years of service.  He also helped his wife Faye at Shoe Show for years.

Left to cherish his memory are three sons, Michael P. Turner, Mark A. Turner, and David F. Turner (JoAnne); seven grandchildren Ryan Turner (Julia Franklin), Hannah Turner, Chandler Turner, Josh Turner (Amy Davis), Denney Collins (Jack), Heather Crouch (Chad), and Erica Turner (John Lee); six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM Monday, December 2, 2019 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Decker officiating.  Burial will be private.
