Suffolk – Faye Weeks Gardner, 93, widow of C. Luke Gardner, Jr. passed away May 17, 2024 at Lake Prince Woods. Faye was born in Columbus County, North Carolina and was a daughter of the late John James and Zilly Ray Weeks. Faye was predeceased by three sisters and one brother, Arlene Helms, Esther Thompson, Lois White, and Eugene Weeks. She was 1949 graduate of Bladenborough High School and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are five daughters Sandra Turner (Eddie), Twyla Duke (Lee), Wendy Mears (Danny), Kimberly Petrasek (Randy) and Shana Martin (Grady), six grandchildren Kevin Turner (Beth), Ashley Turner (Len), Buddy Duke (Ashley), Marsha Mears, Ryan Petrasek, Kyle Petrasek, and three great grandchildren, Katelyn, Rylee, and Logan.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 21, 2024 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with Pastor Ricky Garza officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
