Franklin- Fay Cobb Shelton, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2015 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Cobb, two sisters, Frances Roberts and Mary Elizabeth Blythe and her brother, William Cobb.

Fay was a lifelong resident of Franklin and member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

Fay leaves behind her husband of 65 years, W. Earl Shelton, a son and daughter in-law, David and Nancy Shelton of Suwanee, Georgia, two grandkids, Foster and Victoria Shelton, and sister, Margaret Burgess.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church with Rev. Edmund Pickup officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church or East Pavilion. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin has charge of arrangements. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
