Capron- Everette Gibson Crocker, Sr., 81, passed away July 4, 2014. Mr. Crocker was a native of Johnston County, NC , a son of the late Ivey Clifford and Mamie Creech Crocker and was predeceased by a son Everette Gibson Crocker, Jr. and three brothers, Gilbert, Edward and Billy Crocker. He was a member of Thanksgiving Baptist Church in Selma, NC and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was the owner of Capron Auto Service which was home of the Crocker Breakfast Club.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Peggy Hocutt Crocker, two daughters, Pamela Ferguson (Jerry) of Jarratt and Margaret Vann of Severn,NC, three sisters, Lanie Rogerson, Alene Goolsby and Shirley Blackman, three brothers, Grant, Jimmy and Tommy Crocker, five grandchildren, Elizabeth and Brooke Vann, Mark Ferguson, Stacy Hardester and Melinda Creech and four great grandchildren, Katie and Darby Hardester, Zoie and Drake Creech.

A graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the Capron Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Cook officiating.
